Result Richard III of England is killed and Henry Tudor becomes King of England. Tudor Victory. John Howard is killed and Thomas is wounded and is taken to be held in the Tower of London where he will stay for three years. The Dukedom of Norfolk was forfeited with the death of Thomas Father John Howard. Thomas Elizabeth's husband lost his earldom

• 3RD OCTOBER Elizabeth wrote to John Paston, who was married to her cousin. The letter, which she had written from the Isle of Sheppey, mentioned how she had wished to send her children to Thorpe, pointing out that Paston had pledged to send her horses as a means of transporting them there.
