Anne Neville was Queen consort of Richard III of England, for just under two years.

Anne Neville and Richard III of England, were the first cousin, twice removed.

Anne was the daughter of Richard Neville 16th earl of Warwick, nicknamed “The

Anne’s was from the bloodline of Edward the III of England through both her parents. Anne’s Richard Neville was a great-grandson of John of Gaunt, the son of Edward III of England. Anne’s mother, Anne Beauchamp, is a great-granddaughter of Edmund of Langley, the son of Edward III England.

Allot, of Anne Neville's childhood, was spent at Middleham Castle, which belongs to her father Richard, to where she first met Richard her future second husband.

Anne’s first husband was Edward Of Westminster, the son of Henry VI of England and Margaret of Anjou

Anne and her sister Isabel, were two sisters, married to, two brothers. Isabel was married to Richards brother, George, the Duke of Clarence.

There was much tension, between Anne’s husband Richard, and his brother George over the inheritance, left by Anne and Isabel’s father, now the late Richard Neville. The two brothers fought over their wife’s inheritance. In order to win his brother George’s final consent to the marriage with Anne, Richard renounced most of Richard Neville’s land and property including the earldoms of Warwick.

Anne, was on very good terms with her husband, Richard mother Duchess Cecily, with whom she discussed religious works such as the writings of Mechtilde of Hackeborn quite regularly.

It is believed that Anne Neville died of tuberculosis. Even though there was a rumour circulating around about Richard III England’s relationship with Elizabeth of York, Richard still was broken-hearted at Anne’s funeral.

The day Anne died, there was an eclipse, which some took to be an omen of her husband's fall from heavenly grace.
