During the Tudor period, some of the England’s most remembered  buildings were founded. Many Noble families would have their main seat in some of these castles and manors.. Lands and property was important, it represented their rank and position  in society, Many families would build from one generation to another as long as they stayed in favor with the king. As Kings had the power to demotes and take away lands that belonged to families and give it away to those they felt deserved it.
