• 12TH FEBRUARY Catherine is a witness to the marriage of King James of Scotland and  . John Beaufort was the niece of the late Henry V England.

• Catherine's dower was settled by an Act of Parliament. The dower was a generous 40,000 crowns, (or 10,000 marks), as part of the Treaty of Troyes it had been arranged that, in the event of Catherine's widowhood, she would receive an annuity of 20,000 crowns.

• Catherine is believed to have entered a relationship with Edmund Beaufort, 2nd duke of Somerset. Rumours fly around that they planned to marry. Edmund was the late King Henry V,

• Catherine’s son Owen Tudor is born prematurely at Westminster abbey Owen was taken and raised by the monks to become a member of the order, living under the name Edward Bridgewater
