  • 9TH NOVEMBER: Isabella of France is born, the daughter of  Charles VI of France, and Isabella of Bavaria, at Paris, France
1396
  • 31ST OCTOBER: Isabella at the age of seven years old, married the widowed Richard II of England.
1397
  • 8TH JANUARY: The coronation of Isabella as Queen consort of England. Isabella was crowned by Henry Chichele, Archbishop of Canterbury.
1399
  • MAY: Isabella, is moved to Portchester castle for protection while Richard went on a military campaign in Ireland.
  • Isabella was moved by the duke of York first to Wallingford castle and then to Leeds castle. during the rebellion against Richard II England, by Henry of Bolingbroke
  • 30TH SEPTEMBER Richard II is no longer King and has been deposed. Now Henry Bolingbroke is king of England. Richard is imprisoned.
1400
  • 14TH FEBRUARY: Isabella’s husband Richard died at Pontefract castle, Yorkshire
  • Isabella was ordered by the new king Henry IV to move out of Windsor castle and to settle in the bishop of Salisbury’s Thames side Palace at Sonning in formal house arrest.
  • JUNE: Isabella returns to France
1406
  • 29TH JUNE: Isabella married her cousin Charles, Duke of Orléans
1409
  • SEPTEMBER: Isabella of France, died giving birth to her only child, Joan, at  Blois, Loir-et-Cher, France
Isabella of France  was buried in Blois, in the Abbey of St. Laumer

  • Isabella of France was Queen consort of England for three Years to King Richard II of England
 
  • Isabella was only seven years old , when the marriage took place to Richard II.
 
  • Isabella was also, sister a future queen consort Catherine of Valois, the grandmother to the future Henry VII of England
 
  • She was the daughter of French king, Charles VI.
 
  • Isabella was given her own court at Windsor castle, after the marriage to Richard II, under the supervision of her appointed governess and chief lady-in-waiting Lady De Courcy
 
 
  • When Richard II, died, Henry IV England , wanted Isabella to then marry his son, 14-year-old future king Henry V, but she refused. And France did not support this choice either.
